Esta es Astrid,la novia de Stu Sutscliffe, primer bajista de los Beatles que murió a los 21 años. La foto con Stu es de 1961. Enla que estoy yo con ella es en Liverpool en 2003 en una galería donde se exponían sus fotos. A mi derecha se puede ver una foto de Stu en la pared de la sala. De una foto a otra hay 42 años!!!
Biography (from Wikipedia) Astrid Kirchherr (born 20 May 1938) is a photographer and artist. As a leading member of the Exies, she was a close acquaintance of The Beatles during their early career in Hamburg, and invented their moptop haircut. Kirchherr first met The Beatles at a club when she was dating Klaus Voormann (who later designed the cover to The Beatles' Revolver album), left him for Stuart Sutcliffe (at the time a member of the Beatles), and cut his hair in the familiar moptop, which John Lennon initially found laughable but eventually adopted, like the others. She also designed the Beatles' famous collarless suits. The bio-pic Backbeat deals with the early years of the Beatles, concentrating mainly on the relationships between Kirchherr, Sutcliffe, and Lennon, with Sheryl Lee playing the role of Kirchherr.
